Krupówki Street – 500 m from House’27

The most famous promenade of Zakopane, bustling with life any time of the day, attracts many tourists. And no wonder – it offers many shops, regional bars, restaurants, cafes and interesting places such as: Muzeum Tatrzańskie (Tatra Mountains Museum), neoromanesque parish church – the oldest brick temple in Zakopane, or the Piłsudski memorial park located next to Krupówki.

Wielka Krokiew – 900 m od House’27

Wielka Krokiew is one of the landmarks of Zakopane. It’s the biggest ski jumping hill in Poland and one of the two biggest ski jumping facilities in our country. It’s a place where competitions such as FIS Ski Jumping World Cup and Continental Cup are organized and it has also featured FIS Nordic World Ski Championships – organized three times, or international Universiade – organized two times. Wielka Krokiew is accessible also with a cable car and if weather permits its top offers a beautiful view over Zakopane.

The nearest entrance to the trail is located in Dolina Białego valley, which is accessible also via Droga pod Reglami – a path starting at the Wielka Krokiew hill. Dolina Białego is a very pleasant walking trail, easy to walk also for children. More experienced hikers can go further via Czerowona Przełęcz pass to Sarnia Skała and return via Dolina Strążyska valley or reach the passing in Grzybowiec and climb Giewont mountain. There are plenty of possibilities depending on the weather and one’s stamina and fortitude.

Central Sports Center (COS) offers many biological regeneration treatments. Among others you can take advantage of: cryo capsule, shockwaves, dry hydromassage, physicotheraphy, hydrotherapy, sauna and gym. An interesting attraction of the center is an ice rink – the largest in Podhale region and a professional ice-skating rink, accessible not only for athletes. COS offers also special hypoxia rooms, which imitate conditions corresponding to a given altitude in the mountains.
Note that in the winter season 2021/2022 the facility is closed due to renovation.

Apart from traditional swimming pools this modern Aqua Park offers many attractions, which are loved especially by children: water swing creating waves, wild river resembling natural current of a mountain stream and water slides. Guests can also use an outdoor swimming pool with thermal water and a jacuzzi, salt cave, bowling room and a playroom for children. Another very popular attraction of this Park is a viewing terrace with a beautiful panorama view of the Tatra Mountains.

The Snowland of Zakopane is located right next to Wielka Krokiew hill, and it’s made of artificial snow structures: Snow Labyrinth and Snow Castle with several meters’ high towers, from which you can admire the view of Wielka Krokiew hill and Giewont mountain. Snowladnia features also a mysterious place made of snow and ice with chambers, where you can find snow sculptures made by artists from Podhale region and from Slovakia.

Kuźnice and a cable car to Kasprowy Wierch – 3000 m from House’27

Kuźnice is a district of Zakopane with a rich history, known above all as a center of tourist traffic and a starting station of cable car to Kasprowy Wierch mountain. It’s also a great place to start your mountain trek. The blue trail will lead you to Polana Kondratowa glade, from which it’s easy to reach the Czerwony Wierch or Giewont massif. Less avid hikers can take a cable car to Kasprowy Wierch to reach the ridge of Tatra Mountains effortlessly and stop there or continue further hiking towards e.g. Świnica mountain.
